In June, we were finally able to meet in person with a potential new community group! We had an encouraging meeting where we found out what kind of outreach work they are already doing on their own and what the need is like in their community. This one group could have the potential to reach over 100 Orphans and Vulnerable Children(OVC) and we were encouraged by their enthusiasm. Over the next month or so, we will visit two more groups to find out the same information. Our hope is to identify a group of people who are not only already working to help the OVC in their community, but who are doing so in an organized, systemic manner that we could easily come alongside. Once we have identified two new community groups, we will need to work with local officials to determine a central location for both groups within a town center where we will build the toilet. We are excited that after such a long pause due to COVID, things are finally moving again and this project will be able to be completed soon!
