We provide care to 16 girls and adolescents at psycho-social risk due to issues like socio-affective abandonment, absence of caregivers, negligence, mistreatment, limited resources, and weakened life skills. These individuals lack State intervention, relying on non-profits for support. We offer institutional care, promoting protective factors and family empowerment to improve their living conditions and foster proper socio-family integration, helping them build a brighter future.
Girls and adolescents are at high psychosocial risk because their caregivers work in the informal economy and have long working hours. Without support networks to care for the children while they work, the girls are left alone during the day, exposing them to various environmental risks. Additionally, they do not have access to adequate nutrition.
La Corporacion Pueblo de los Ninos offers vital support to girls at personal, family, and social risk. We provide two care programs: Day Care Program (Externship): Girls attend a protective institution for 8 hours daily, receiving care, education, and meals, returning to their families in the afternoon. Full-Time Care and Shelter Program (Internship): For those at higher risk, we provide full-time care from Monday to Friday, ensuring educati
