Hello to all of our amazing supporters across the globe!
Thank you for helping us move towards building Scotty's Rescue Centre.
We are still raising the funds to complete our Rescue Centre, and have a way to go. However, with your help we can complete our dream of rehabilitating vulnerble people that live on the streets of Kenya.
In the meantime, the team in Kenya have opened up a home that will serve as a temporary rescue centre (for women and their children), until our permanent centre is complete. Women and their children are the most vulnerable, so we need to serve them first.
We have high hopes that our permanent rescue centre will be funded soon. As you know we have already purchased many of our vital items such as the land of course, the gate. and equipment (such as beds) for the rooms and the bedrooms. We now just need to complete our fence and start building the structure.
The temporary rescue centre project is underway. The team have rented a house that is already housing women and children. The team in Kenya have already built a chicken coop and fitted a water tank. The water tank and the chickens will help the women to remain self-sustainable as they can sell the eggs and have clean water. Because ALL Children Matter has managed to secure separate (and private) donations for this project.
Your generous donations are helping our permanent rescue centre only!
We are looking forward to starting the construction of Scotty’s Place. With your help we want to be able to house these vulnerable women and children in our permanent rescue centre as soon as possible. The street is no place for anyone let alone a vulnerable child.
Everything we have achieved is made possible with your continuous support, kindness and encouragement, and we are hopeful that our permanent centre will be completed in the near future.
Every donation big or small makes an impact. If you planning on giving to a life changing cause, we welcome and appreciate your support
Thank you all for helping us build Scotties Rescue Centre!
