The children at Abba's House Children's Center in Cienfuegos, Dominican Republic had a busy fall season. They continued to receive three nourshing meals per day and enjoyed a Christmas party with special foods not normally offered the rest of the year. Each child also received a Christmas gift. The number of children served has increased to 125.
Local farmers deliver a truck load of fresh fruits and vegetables to the center each week.
The property where the children's center is located was expanded with the purchase of an additional small lot. A medical clinic was added back in the spring. Children are doing well in their studies, but are in need of additional educational materials, including children's books in Spanish. They now have flutophones and are planning to start a music education program. Some of the older children are leader the younger ones in physical education, including organized games and sports.
