Taal Volcano Eruption Women Support Fund

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project assisting those affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano. The entry of the Coronavirus pandemic has made our work very complicated because of travel restrictions and the difficulty in reaching-out to the most affected families. Thanks to on the ground volunteers, we are able to provide support albeit in a very challenging manner. This reporting period we were able to provide continuing support by the provision of vegetable seeds and organic fertilizer so that women are able to jump-start their vegetable gardening activities. We aim to provide support to 700 women and their families. We coordinated our effort with the local agriculutre office in order to leverage manpower from them and they are very supportive to our efforts.

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing for the needs of women and girls affected by the Taal volcano eruption. We are able to mobilize quickly by connecting with local volunteers who are residing near the affected areas as well as those who are near evacuation centers. Our activities has been doubly difficult with the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic and the resulting quarantine measures implemented by government authorities. This reporting period we are able to provide relief packs comprising mainly hygiene kits which is what is lacking and not responded to by other organizations. We were able to provide 750 relief packs distributed to 750 individuals in this manner. Again, thank you very much for your generosity.
