Dear friend,
It’s 2025 and with the start of the school year in March, we have also started a new project. We start next week working with 4 public schools and kindergartens, in Concón, Viña del Mar and Quintero.
This project called Patio Educativo aims to support the educational process regarding the environment from as early as Pre-K. We work hand in hand with the schools, the families and children. This promotes social cohesion, an early understanding and relationship with nature and the process of growing food and composting within the children, gives knowledge and tools for both the educators and families to hopefully integrate this learnings in day to day life and, finally, enriches social cohesion and participation for the whole educational community.
We are so excited for this new opportunity and we’ll be sharing the process with you, here are some images of the process of building the growing beds that we’ll be installing in each school
