Dear friend,
During the first half of this second semester we have been working with 5 different education communities of the region. This work looks to engage kids, teachers and families along the work in the garden, showing and experiencing the growth of food, getting our hands in the dirt.
Several activities based on playful and experiential learning. We prepared soil substrate, planted vegetables, herbs and flowers, creating an ecosystem, irrigation and care of the environment. This is an ongoing project with the communities and we are thrilled to see the positive reception and interest from the institutions and all the people that participate.
The children engage in the activities, enjoying every moment of the activities and have been able to experience the process of creating and taking care of their own vegetable garden.
Regards,
