We are very happy with the next surgical campaign that will be carried out in the imperial city of Cusco, in that sense we have already started with the dissemination in the southern region of Peru to recruit patients in extreme poverty with severe consequences of burns.
This process begins with the evaluation of the patient in the city of Cusco, and then proceeds to the selection of the candidates. Our priority is children, since scars do not grow and that is why they pull on the skin and deformities occur.
We are grateful that children with severe burns have access to this benefit that would not be possible without the support of people like GlobalGiving donors.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
