Poor entrepreneurs have difficulty improving their enterprises because of lack of capital, lack of knowledge in business management and lack of linkages and connections. There is a need to assist poor entrepreneurs in order to make the economic situation in villages more vibrant and energized. We shall focus our support to 200 poor entrepreneurs in 2 towns with multi-faceted assistance with the main goal of improving their lives.
Poor entrepreneurs struggle in order to succeed in their business. Some of the hindrances they usually meet include lack of capital, lack of knowledge and the presence of large traders lording over the marketing of goods. There is a need to provide local entrepreneurs with small capital, training and guidance as they implement their enterprises. There is also a need to help them develop market linkages and product development in order to add value to their products.
We will provide small capital on a roll-over basis for small entrepreneurs coupled with the provision of training and market support. The problems that they usually met are solvable but these needs focused support and assistance by dedicated helpers and experts. Aside from our direct support we will also assist them in linking with other players within and outside their communities.
Improvement in the enterprises of local entrepreneurs means the economic well-being of local communities where they live and engage their economic activities. In the long run vibrant local economies means improvement in the overall life of the community.
