Support the schooling of 300 children in Haiti.

Due to financial supports received from you dear donors, we could helping the administrative personnel and allowing the accrual of children in the classroom follow:

Preschool: 30 students (18 girls and 12 boys)
1ère Year Fundamental: 12 students (6 girls and 6 boys)
2nd Year Fundamental 22 students (10 girls and 12 boys)
3rd Fundamental Year 15 students (10 girls and 5 boys)
4th Fundamental Year 12 students (9 girls and 3 boys)
5th Fundamental Year 8 students (2 girls and 6 boys)
6th Fundamental Year 6 students (4 girls and 2 boys)

These students were assessed during the above-mentioned period and achieved a pass rate of 51%. In the second term, the focus will be on homework. However, many of their parents cannot read or write. To enable them to support these pupils, we suggested at an awareness-raising meeting that the school management ask parents to have their children supported by a literacy coach or tutor.

Many of the planned activities could not be carried out, for example the provision of adequate school materials, health care support for pupils, the collection of data relating to their body mass index (BMI), their weight/height and other data relating to their state of good health, such as the number of red blood cells, deworming, etc.

We hope to receive new donations and to be able to meet the following needs in the coming quarters: Health Care, Food, Uniform, Shoes, Scholar material, to be able and to have a weighing scale to take the weight (kg) of each student periodically and a toise to facilitate the measurement of their height.
