Things are happening in Kupang! Since August we've completed more than 83 mentoring visits to teachers participating in Kabupaten Kupang Suka Membaca, an average of a little more than 2 visits per teacher. These teachers are using Saya Suka Membaca to teach more than 800 children in local schools how to read with fluency and understanding - and sharing a love of reading which we hope will last a lifetime.

We're also delighted to announce the opening of our first ever branch office! The Kupang office will allow the existing Kupang team to run programs more effectively, and make it possible to grow the team, allowing us to reach more teachers and children in Kupang and surrounding areas. Our plan is that the office will also be a springboard for us to begin new partnerships in other locations in Eastern Indonesia, including Sumba, Rote island, and Sabu island.
