Dear Donor,
We are in the process of planning our year-end project to provide school requirements to rural school kids in December 2020. The school year in Sri Lanka commences in January.
We have recieved requests to support 3,116 rural school children, so far, The estimated cost is LKR 5 million approx. We have a shortfall of LKR 500,000 currently to support all these children.
Please find attached herewith the details of those schools we wish to support this year and the estimate for this project.
We are expecting a few more requests in the next few weeks, and wish to consider them positively, if possible.
We wish to support as many rural children as possible, and will visit these areas in December 2020 and January 2021 and hand over these school supplies to them, personally. Our team works voluntarily and will support the expenses with regard to their transport and accomodation, encountered for these visits. They consider it to be their contribution towards the project. As a result, more than 95% of the donations we receive will reach the beneficiaries.
We request you to kindly reach out to your friends and relatives who could support us to reach our target, so that we will be able to accomodate all rural kids for whom support has been requested for, by the rural schools.
We thank you very much for your generosity. May you and your family be blessed abundantly. May all your noble aspirations be fulfilled.
Best Regards
Suranjani Wickremeratne
