Thanks to the donation granted in the project “Support people with Down syndrome in this pandemic”, a hundred students with Down syndrome could benefit.
In the period of September 2020 to January 2021, educational care in distance was provided for 60 students (special primary education). As well, 4 psychological sessions were also provided to parents and students.
Also, it was possible to provide 40 students from the Mexican School of Down Art with classes for 1 week.
2020 has been the most difficult year to our Foundation, that was created 49 years ago. Is for that reason that today, more than ever, we need your support to keep giving attention to hundred of students with Down syndrome in Mexico.
We deeply appreciate your support, which will allow us to continue developing our mission, which is to "promote dignity, human rights, and potential of people with Down syndrome, improving their quality of life".
