In the past year, we have begun supporting Palestinian students living in Malaysia. We are very thankful to the higher education institutions and global diaspora for sponsoring students' tuition fees.
Even with the scholarships, students can't afford the additional costs that come with studying at university while living away from their families. In order to alleviate stress and anxiety, we are now fundraising to provide Study Aid for 20 Palestinian students pursuing university studies in Malaysia.
Over the last couple weeks we have had a wonderful time getting to know our 20 students! We found out about their needs but we also got to see their compassion. All the students have expressed that they would at some point like to volunteer or contribute back to the diaspora to ensure others receive the same opportunities they have.
We are excited to share more reports with you in the next few months. We hope our students' stories will inspire you as they have done with us!
