Key Facts About Our Student Fundraising Program

The 2024-1 Outreach Process concluded successfully with a total of 775 applications from Latin American students, including students from the cohort you supported.

This cycle introduced an enhanced Student Fundraising Program with innovative elements designed to empower participants:

• LALA Shark Tank Sessions: An engaging platform where students pitched their ideas and received donations. You can see the celebratory post we created on LinkedIn:

• Centralized Crowdfunding Campaign: LALA’s first-ever centralized campaign, creating streamlined opportunities for fundraising. This is the campaign you supported!
• Official Participant Booklet: A comprehensive facebook featuring all students' profiles and funding needs, by country.

We are happy to share the following results:

• US$26,567: Self-reported funds raised by students, including your contribution via this GlobalGiving Project.
• US$3,347: Contributions from Sharks during the Shark Tank sessions.
