Dear Donors,
This report is one of the most emotional reports we have ever shared with you. It all started with the inauguration of MyHome Al-Mustafa in 2017. Little did I know that these tiny human beings whom we are enrolling will become this close to our hearts.
The most heart-wrenching moment is when the children are brought to us for enrollment. Their innocent gaze burst with the emotions of the fear of the unknown, sadness of leaving their family, excitement and amazement of the coming days, and the sorrow, that settles deep in the eyes of most orphans.
In a span of a few weeks, those same eyes sparkle with the joy of a comfortable life. An orphanage can never replace a home, but the children brought to these orphanages no longer have the privilege of enjoying life with their parents. Most belong to impoverished families who barely make it to the next day, so their best possible resolve is to grant someone else their child's responsibility, where they can at least get to live a comfortable life and a chance to study and make their future.
The eldest of our children passed their matriculation (Grade X) examinations with remarkable results and started to plan their future goals. Different options were discussed with the children, suggestions were made, and the last decision was left to their own.
Every child has goals and ambitions for the future, and it is when they have to make their own decisions. Two kids opted to study commerce, while four chose pre-engineering and computer sciences. Subsequently, applications were submitted, and the children were called in for admission from different colleges. At this time, they were showered with prayers, good wishes, gifts and farewell parties.
All parents make sure that their child gets the best of things before entering the next phase of life, and so do we, since we are no less than parents to them.
Before the start of their new classes at college, all the kids went shopping for their clothes, shoes and other personal items from the LuckyOne Mall, enjoyed their time at the amusement area Onderland and lunched together.
Below is the academic summary of our six intelligent boys:
Zohaib
Ayyan
Raza
Daim
Khan
Sohail
