KOSHISH have been providing short term residential support to abandoned, marginalized, and homeless women. The women that have been receiving support form transit home of KOSHISH are homeless, abandoned, locked, chained, caged, abused women who have been gone through the vulnerable situation due to mental health conditions. The women are rescued and provided with psychosocial support. Those women who are rescued from street usually defecate in their own clothes and are not able to maintain their cleanliness on own. The staffs of transit home take care of them and maintain their cleanliness in daily basis.
We have been able to raise the fund for purchasing washing machine with the support of donors through GlobalGiving platform. We have already given advance for purchasing the washing machine and soon the washing machine will be delivered. It will make easier for maintaining hygiene of the women. The support has helped us to ensure that we would be able to provide quality and effective services to the homeless women.
