We are pleased to share with you a new success story that is added to our track record of saving lives and improving the lives of women and children. All credit goes to your continued donations that help us save lives in northern Syria.
Last week, one of our hospital in northern Syria received patient Dima, 19 years old, who was 38 weeks pregnant. She suffered from shortness of breath, agitation, and severe headache that did not respond to painkillers, with repeated vomiting on the same day.
After a clinical examination and the necessary tests, it was found that the patient was suffering from severe pre-eclampsia, and her symptoms began to progress, with severe pain, blurred vision, and decreased oxygenation.
The medical team decided to terminate the patient’s pregnancy with an emergency caesarean section, and thanks to your donations, Mrs. Dima gave birth and was taken to her room, and she with her baby are now in good health.
This story is an example of what we do every day thanks to your donations to women and children in northern Syria.
