They Heard "I Love You" for the First Time - Thanks to You!

By Baraa Ali | Fundraising Officer

Dear Supporter,

Just a few days ago, there were little souls living in a silent world—a world without the laughter of friends, without the calls of their mothers, without the whispers of life. Children who tried to understand the world through their eyes alone because their ears could not hear.

But thanks to your compassionate hearts, and in this blessed month of mercy, thanks to your generous hands, their lives have changed forever! Last week, with your pure donations, we were able to provide and fit more than 50 hearing aids for deaf children in Syria, specifically in SEMA’s protection centers in rural Aleppo. More than thirty children heard the voices of their loved ones for the first time, thirty hearts beat with amazement and joy when they heard their mothers say "I love you", fifty little souls that once lived in isolation have now begun to truly live again!

One mother told us, with tears streaming down her face, that for the first time, her child noticed her footsteps as she approached. For the first time, he turned around when she called his name. And for the first time, he laughed out loud—because he finally heard his brother’s laughter for the very first time!

See the attached photos and witness the joy on their faces—the moment they embraced life as if they had just been born!

Can you imagine?
Without you… without your support… without your warm hearts, these children would have remained trapped in a world of silence, strangers to life, deprived of the simplest human rights.

But you were there. You gave them this chance. You brought them back to life! You are the reason behind these tears—tears of joy and gratitude for you.

Each hearing aid was not just a device, but a door that opened to the world, a new chance to dream, to play, and to feel that they are no longer alone.

Thank you from the bottom of their little hearts. Thank you to everyone who made it possible for these angels to hear the sounds of life again.

In this blessed month of Ramadan, let’s not forget that many more deaf children are still waiting for our help.

Jazakom Allah Khairen,
SEMA Org. Team
