RUPFA Ghana is seeking fund s to support the Nyame Atine Women group into Small Scale Manufacturing of Soaps and Shea Butter in the Yendi Municipal in the Northern Region. The objective of this project is to empower the women to reduce over dependency on their spouses or basic needs, sustain the existing structure, reduce idleness amongst the women.
The women in the communities lack income to support their husbands at home and the girls are also migrating to the big cities such as Accra, Kumasi and Tema to look for jobs which is is sometimes difficult to find. These women are sometimes maltreated by the husbands simply because they have not been supportive enough. However, the girls also comes back home with pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases and other chronic illness.
As we speak the women are always reduce to nothing in the community because they can't assist in nothing done in the communities. With these project the women will start making income for themselves and will empower then to contribute to the welfare of their families and the community development. These will multivate to participate in decision making.
The women can participate and contributing to the development of communities at large. They will support the men on education of their children, support Payment of bills, Pay for their healthcare expense, afford three square meals meaning child malnutrition will be thing of the past. We also help reduce rural urban migration among the young girls.
