Hunger and mental health are deeply interconnected, and for many vulnerable women in Nepal, access to food is not just about survival—it is about dignity, recovery, and hope. KOSHISH, a pioneering mental health organization in Nepal, is committed to breaking the cycle of hunger and malnutrition among women who are not only battling extreme poverty but also struggling with mental health conditions. Through the Support Food to Nepali Women initiative, we are ensuring that these women receive regular, nutritious meals that are crucial for their physical and mental well-being.
Women facing mental health challenges in Nepal often endure social stigma, abandonment, and economic hardship, leaving them without access to basic necessities. Malnutrition further exacerbates their psychological distress, making rehabilitation even more difficult. To address this, KOSHISH has been providing food support to women residing in emergency care centers, rehabilitation homes, and vulnerable communities. Our efforts include providing balanced diet, offering nutritional counseling, and integrating psychosocial support to ensure a holistic approach to their recovery.
Through this initiative, we have successfully provided food assistance to 100 women, ensuring that they receive daily meals essential for their health and stability. However, the demand for food support continues to grow, and we need your help to sustain and expand this initiative. Your generous contribution can help us reach more women in need, providing them with not just food, but the strength to heal and rebuild their lives.
With your support, we can continue to break the chains of hunger and mental health struggles—one meal at a time. Together, let’s bring hope to those who need it the most.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
