Support Early Childhood Development in Rural SA

Our Rise creche wrapped up the year in a truly special way! On December 13th, 2024, we held our Graduation Ceremony and Christmas Party , making it an unforgettable day for the children. As always , we aimed to make the ceremony fun and joyful, with delicious food, exciting outdoor activities, and plenty of smiles all around. Each child recieved their own personalized 2025 calender featuring their adorable photo, and the Graduates were gifted with school uniforms and a tasty snack pack.

We didn't celebrate alone . We invited the parents to join us, giving them the opportunity to see firsthand the incredible progress and achievements their chidren had made throughout the year. The children engaged in a variety of activities, from reading to showcasting their creativity in a 'Trash to Treasure' fashion show. Volunteers played crucial role in bringing these activities to life, creating the books for the kids, assisting with the fashion show and teaching them valuable lessons on reusing plastic and keeping our environment safe and clean.

Now, the children are back in the Eco Village for 2025, ready for new adventures,learning opportunities, and fun. We are excited to continue fostering growth and development and we hope to welcome even more volunteers to assist in the creche, helping create educational toys and finding ways to teach and ensure the children's safety .
