Support Early Childhood Development Caregivers

We are 6 months into our ECD Train the Teacher programme and we are happy to report that the programme has been running according to plan. As of now, we have a total of 218 students enrolled across our 8 centres. 

We are always looking for ways to support our student teachers. In June, the student teachers received their first assignments for Core Module 1. This module comprises of seven assignments that can be tough, challenging, and sometimes confusing. As Education Africa ECD trainers, we fully understand the difficulties our student teachers face, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.

To assist our students, we have introduced Support Days. During these days, students bring in the assignments they are working on and receive guidance and support from our dedicated team of trainers and interns. Our goal is to lead them in the right direction, ensuring they complete their assignments with a solid understanding of the material. This support helps them submit comprehensive and accurate work, reducing the need for resubmissions.

We are incredibly grateful to our trainers and interns for their dedication and hard work in helping our students succeed. We are equally as excited to witness the growth and development of our student teachers as they progress through the program. Their dedication and hard work are evident, and we look forward to seeing them thrive in their educational journeys. The future looks bright for our students, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
