We want to share with you how your support continues to transform the lives of children with autism who are part of our Special Education Program. Thanks to your generosity, we are able to continue providing specialized therapeutic treatments that support their growth, independence, and overall quality of life.
As part of the program’s complementary activities, we seek experiences that promote inclusion in the community. Recently, the children participated in a visit to Laak Dental, where they had the opportunity to learn about dental instruments and, best of all, received a professional dental cleaning!
These visits not only reinforce social skills and understanding of everyday environments but also reduce common fears for those children, fostering confidence in children, parents, and inclusion as a whole.
An example of how this activity had a positive impact is Santiago, one of the students in the program. During his dental cleaning, he behaved wonderfully, always accompanied by his mom and teachers. At the end, with a big smile, he said to the dentist, "Thank you so much, doctor, you're so pretty!" These types of experiences build the children's confidence and help them feel comfortable in new environments.
We are deeply grateful for your commitment to this cause. It is thanks to people like you that we can continue offering activities that complement their therapeutic treatment and enrich their lives.
