Hello!
We want to share with you that after a well-deserved December´s holiday, the 30 children and young students with autism of the School Program returned to their face-to-face and online classes. The therapist teachers began assessing the children's cognitive, academic, and language skills and challenges to create their personalized work plan for this year. This work plan was also given to the parents of each student.
In February, the students with ASD had their Valentines´ party, they celebrated with their peers, therapist teachers and brought a gift to a secret friend. On the other hand, the group "A" celebrated the birthday of three of their peers: Emiliano, Ethan and Franco, who celebrated very happily throughout all the party.
Thanks to your donation, the therapists teachers can continue working on the skills and challenges of children with ASD as well as they create activities that promote inclusion.
Also, we want to remind you that upcoming April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day so we are working to join the global movement "Light It Up Blue", soon you will be hearing from us about how you can help us to make autism visible in Tijuana.
Warmly,
PASITOS A.C.
