Dear Donors,
Its with profound happiness we wish to inform you that we completed the ICT Lab at Landegama Vidyalaya, a very remote school in Welimada - Badulla District - Uva Province in Sri Lanka. The ceremony to open this ICT Lab happened on the 23rd of October and the main fundraising co-ordinator for this project - Mr. Ranjith Gunasekera from USA was present at this event.
Most of the students in the school do not posses a computer and some of them had not even seen a computer other than on TV or newspaper before.
This project enabled the students in the school to gain access to a state of the art technology lab with internet facility and will assist them to learn IT and to work on a computer.
This learning will help these students to raise the bar and to gain knowledge on IT required to move into the competitve world.
We take this opportunity to thank each one of you for making this possible, and may you and your family be blessed abundantly !
