Bonjou from EIM Haiti. While it continues to be a trying time for the country at large, we just wanted to share a quick update to let everyone know that our school operations are running at full capacity. We have nearly 200 students enrolled across 8 classes that are continuing to meet twice a week. In fact, after significant cancellations through the fall, we’ve been able to pick up steam in hopes of completing all our materials in time for summer exams.
On that note, while safety is always our number one concern, we’re cautiously optimistic we’ll be able to continue on with our annual exam season this July. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as the situation on the ground can change daily. Meanwhile, we’re also thrilled to have our computer lab and WiFi up and running strong, so a hybrid exam solution might also be in the works.
Thanks to everyone reading this for your continued support. We’re proud to say EIM Haiti is here to stay and we couldn’t do it without you!
