Good day our dear contributors!
We are happy to share what's new with Esperanza Urbana and the rehabilitation center we sponsor.
Currently there are 13 men at the rehab center being supported through our involvement and your amazing donations. Among which are Antonio and Fernando.
Antonio is 47 years old and started smoking cigarettes and marijuana at the age of 9. In his youth he suffered physical abuse from his father. Antonio has tried many times to get out of his habits and has had frequent relapses. He is now hopeful that with the help of the center he can get turn his life around.
Fernando is 37 years old and started using drugs at the age of 16. His addictions led him to criminality. Following a car theft a judge, rather than incarcerating Fernando, sent him to the rehab center for 2 years so that he can receive the help he requires.
These are just the stories of two men but many others like them are being helped thanks to your generous donations. They all hold great hopes for the future!
Follow our social medias in the coming weeks as we will be participating in the GlobalGiving Little by Little campaign where any new monthly donations will be matched by 50% by GlobalGiving. Check it out starting early March and pass the word around to your friends and family!
