Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your donation to our project feeding hungry families. In previous activities we have we focused on the direct provision of food-stuff like rice and dried fish but this creates dependency among our beneficiaries. We changed our approach to promoting the growing of vegetables and fruit tree production and in so doing have sustainable means of getting income. This is the best approach that we think about given that most of our focus is on agriculture and in engaging the youth into farming with the realization that the age of farmers are old already and we need young blood to take over farming. This reporting period we were able to provide vegetable seeds as the main productive input to 160 young farmers and our next move will be to engage local technicians to provide support.
