Thank you very much for your support to our project feeding hungry families. We are excited about this project because of the potential in preventing hunger and malnutrition among poor families. Our strategy is to train and guide them to grow their own food, using their own resources and then providing them with small inputs like seeds, seedlings and organic fertilizer. We are planning to provide them with a small hand tractor that they can communaly use in order to hasten field cultivation. Cultivating their farm using hand tools is laborious and time-consuming. This reporting period we start with providing them with planting materials comprising root crops since we consider root crops as climate resilient crops as they are able to withstand harsh climatic conditions. We were able to start with 20 farmers and we hope to increase the number as we go along in project implementation. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.
