Hello everyone!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break and a great start to the year 2025.
Centre Marembo is currently working on a new project focused on non-traditional training for teen mothers and survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). This vocational training course is centered on the commercial and residential painting profession.
The project is now in its third month, and the 10 selected participants have started practicing their painting skills after learning essential topics such as color theory, painting preparation, and more, as shown in the attached photos. The project offers a holistic support package, which includes Early Childhood Development (ECD) services for the participants' children (11 of whom are enrolled at Centre Marembo’s ECD Gikondo Center), personal and life skills workshops, food and hygiene packages, and both healthcare and mental health support.
The training will last for 7 months and will end in July 2025.
