As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, we are launching this campaign to provide essential food baskets for 500 families of Syrian refugees and vulnerable Turkish households in Mersin, Turkey. Each food basket contains essential items such as rice, flour, sugar, oil, and dates, helping families secure nutritious meals during this holy month. With your support, we can ease their suffering and bring them hope this Ramadan.
Many refugee families and vulnerable Turkish households in Mersin struggle with severe economic hardship, making it difficult to secure enough food, especially during Ramadan when the need for nutritious meals increases. Rising living costs and unemployment further burden these families, leaving them facing daily challenges in providing food.
By distributing comprehensive food baskets, we will ensure these families have access to essential food supplies that will sustain them throughout Ramadan, reducing their financial burden and allowing them to focus on the spiritual and social aspects of this holy month. We will work with local volunteers to ensure fair and efficient distribution, prioritizing the most vulnerable families.
This project will improve food security for these families and strengthen social solidarity in the community. It will also give the beneficiaries a sense of support and dignity at a time when they need solidarity the most.
