Zimbabwe's Mana Pools National Park is one of southern Africa's most remote and idyllic wildlife destinations. Unfortunately, being so remote and secluded makes it an attractive target for wildlife poachers who prey on the once abundant, charismatic African wildlife.
As part of our commitment to putting a stop to this, we're building and staffing an additional anti-poaching base, which thanks to your kind support is now underway!
Two months ago, we broke ground and construction has been progressing very well! The foundations were laid, and the main structure has been erected. Water storage tanks have also been delivered. Our next step is adding the roof and setting up the communications infrastructure.
I look forward to sending you our next exciting update on this critical project!
