Dear our readers and friends, we are very happy to report that the two girls we have so far given sewing machines are progressing well. By the time we gave Noreen a sewing machine, she was staying with her mother. When we went to check on her this February, we found when she had rented a room where she does her tailoring business. She sleeps in the same room. Then she hangs the finished clothes in the same room and customer find her there. Norren is a crawling young woman. The second young woman we gave is Stella. Stella got a school and she makes uniforms for the school. Stella is a visually impaired young woman and she does not see well. Stella has one child and she takes care of herself and her 6 year old daughter.
Their only challenge is limited capital which does not enable them make enough clothes for thier cutstomers. They both need material rolls for making school uniform for them to earn well and increase on thier income.
We still have more young women with disabilities who need sewing machine.
The first two have done well and they have impressed us more.
Our dear friends, thank you so much and we are calling for more support to have more 18 young women with disabilities for tailoring.
We love you
