DEAF GIRL ENROLLED HAIR DRESSING TRAINING

By Faridah Nabbanja | Projects Coordinator

MPWDA enrolled one  deaf girl for hair dressing. The girl started the training at the near by beauty parlour to reduce on the transport costs. She has much interest in learning and we believe she will make it.

We are remaining with more 4 deaf  girls to be enrolled and trained so that the saloon starts with five deaf girls. We have much belief that once skilled and given start up capital, the five girls will attract customers, get income, lead independent  and dignified lives.

We therefore request for more support from our friends for us to achieve this.

We are greaful for all the support
