Children with special needs especially those suffering from cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other physical and mental handicaps need to be supported in order to reach their potential and that is what Lala's Children Support Organisation has been doing for some time now. We have seen several children's ways of living improved. More than ever, we need your urgent assistance in continuing to help these children especially through the post covid 19 era.
86 Children living with Autism, 13 with Cerebral Palsy and 6 children with Down Sydrome at Lala's Center for Children with Special Needs at Seguku, Wakiso district of Uganda are highly affected by COVID-19 pandemic whereby they can not access the much needed therapy services and treatment in case of sickness among others. Even after COVID-19, catering for these children will be even harder. We urgently need your support to continue improving their ways
We work to ensure that children with special needs live to their full potential through a multidisciplinary approach to education and your donation will help get the recommended Medical Medium Protocol diets for these children and therapies such as physio-therapies, occupational and speech therapies, music and art therapies. Our Individualized Education Plans will also improve the holistic development of these children as well as have a positive impact on their families.
We believe that children with Autism, celebral palsy and Down Sydrome, if not supported, will greatly be devastated and this will bring a long term negative social, economic, mental and physical impact on their lives and those of their families. The project will therefore improve the living conditions of children with special needs and their families, helping them get neuro treatments , give them a holistic training and empowerment that will make them self reliant
