Dear Friends and Supporters,
Our Fellows did it! After two fruitful years, they graduate this month! As always, we thank you for your interest and your support.
It has been a wonderful two years with many successes and a few challenges. Despite Covid 19, our Fellows thrived and flourished, as did their grass roots programs. This year alone over 2,500 girls and women were supported at the community level, and we saw a 100% increase in funding for their grass-roots programs. To say nothing of the 100+ hours devoted to leadership training and mentoring. None of it possible with your help.
One of the unexpected pluses of the program has been the deep professional and personal bonds which have grown between the Fellows. These bonds will nurture and support them for their entire careers…According to one Fellow, "Dear Empowerd to Educate, I don't know where I would have met the rest of the wonderful ladies without you creating a platform for us. Personally, I can't thank you enough. We are so grateful. Thank you Empowered to Educate."
As of June 30th, the Fellows close one chapter and open another. They are part of the Empowered to Educate Alumnae Network; you will hear more about their ongoing successes.
Once again, thank you being such advocates for our Fellows!
Kind regards,
The Empowered to Educate Team
