Safe Water Sports, the Organization that promotes safety in the aquatic environment, attended a formal event addressing teachers and swimming intructors in Cyprus on December 2024. During this event, the teachers presented their work and we talked about our actions and initiatives in Cyprus.The Organization in cooperation with Cyprus plans to create an Oceal Lab in a region over there in order to welcome studernts from various places, as we do in Athens.
One of the latest news is the WHO published the official report regarding the water safety system that each country adopts worldwide. Greece, due to SWS has been ranked on the top in comparison with other countries regarding the systems and mechanism we have developed from promoting awareness and safety to citizens and tourists but also regading the data collection system we have already produced.
Furthermore, in the following months the Organization will publish officially the statistical data of drownings and injuries regarding 2024,in order to promote awareness to citizens especially children and elderly, in the following months.
Additionally, the organization will produce a new tv spot this year reagrding safety awareness for the senior that will be presented on tv and cinemas.
