Limited educational opportunity prevents the DRC from developing as it should. One of the richest countries in the world in terms of natural resources is one of the poorest in terms of economic development. Outside a few modern cities, there is virtually no government infrastructure. Isolation breeds lawlessness, poverty, and myriad abuses for the disconnected and underserved people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
