Stand with Palestine

Thank you so much for your support of this project. I’m writing to share some updates from ActionAid’s efforts in Palestine. We appreciate you taking the time to learn about and act in response to our work.

May 14, 2023 was the 75th anniversary of the Nakba, a day that serves as an important reminder that solidarity with the Palestinian people must continue until such a time that their humanity is both recognized and respected. ActionAid's ongoing support for Palestinian human rights and sustainable peacebuilding relies on strengthening ties between women’s and youth groups, advancing their influence, and growing their capacity for resilience. On this anniversary, with your support, Palestinian refugee youth groups gathered in solidarity with residents of Masafer Yatta (in the southern-occupied West Bank) who are at risk of forced evication.To honor their history, together, they planted olive trees and used the moment to share individual stories and accounts about their collective quest for justice.

75 years later, we are even more inspired by the resilience and determination of Palestinians and are equally grateful for your continued support and amplificiation of these stories and efforts.

ActionAid will continue to support communities in Palestine that are disproportionately impacted by violence and policies that keep people marginalized. Thank your solidarity and for being in this moment with us, it's never been more crtical.
