SRLC USA wishes everyone a warm and happy Thanksgiving. We hope that your weekend was full of graceful moments and love. As each and every one of us are so blessed and thankful to be part of a community that encourages and supports us, let us take a moment to pay that forward this Giving Tuesday.
As a woman, we must help our own thrive and strive no matter where they are in the world. And when men become advocates for women empowerment, there is nothing that cannot be achieved. So for this Thanksgiving, let us hear the story of an inspirational young woman from rural India.
Twenty nine year old Hemalatta from rural Gujarat currently runs her own catering business. An income and her own business were a far-away dream for her. The extensive training provided by MGU taught her several life skills and helped grow her confidence. Hemalatta put this learning into practice by launching her own catering company that today serves food at various SRLC centers in Dharampur.
Your donation to SRLC USA will be directly impacting women like Hemlatta, women who are aspirational, powerful, and simply amazing. Your generous gift will be the reason another mother can bring home an extra meal for her child during the holidays by providing her resources to make more hand-made products!
