Dear friends,
Winter is upon us and I am struggling to type right now because my hands are freezing this morning. As this year comes to a close, I would like to thank you all for the support you have shown Libros para Todos.
Thanks to you, 350 children were able to receive the book, "Las luciernagas no vuelan," and meet the author (Pedro Antonio Garcia) this past November. The children were thrilled and for many, this book is the first book they will own.
We also sent a book club of 30 young readers to the FIL (Festival Internacional de Lectura en Guadalajara), the largest book fair in Mexico for the second year in a row. There, they were submerged completely in the world of books: meetings authors, browsing all kinds of literature, and attending workshops. They loved it!
This year hasn't been easy for so many of us but please know that we created something beautiful and good in the lives of many children. We have many plans for 2022 so please stay tuned and enjoy the pictures of the events with the authors.
