Improve Latin America's future by investing in its next generation. Sponsor students to enroll in LALA's next Virtual Leadership Bootcamp. High school students committed social impact will tackle our intensive one-week curriculum of leadership training, expand their networks of peers and mentors, and enter LALA's lifelong community of alumni support. Scholarships will be awarded to students with the greatest need, eliminating financial barriers for our promising leaders.
Latin America has struggled to achieve sustainable and shared prosperity. In order to succeed, Latin America requires a new generation of values-driven leaders working together across borders, ideologies, and backgrounds to address the most pressing issues in their communities and countries. The Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA) is developing this new generation of such leaders.
LALA searches the entire region of Latin America for young leaders (14-20 year old's) from all backgrounds with a demonstrated sense of purpose and the potential to solve the biggest problems in their communities. Through holistic educational programs (currently offered virtually due to Covid-19), partnerships, community-building, mentorship and access to global opportunities, we systematically accompany them on their lifelong leadership journeys.
This project will provide promising young leaders with full scholarships to a LALA Virtual Leadership Bootcamp and LALA's lifelong alumni support in mental health, language, mentorship, and internship support. They will apply LALA skills to their communities, and join the ranks of young, well-trained and impactful, principled LALA leaders working across borders, industries, political leanings and socioeconomic levels, united by a common purpose: Tackling the region's most pressing challenges.
