As we are approaching the final months of 2024, we are filled with immense gratitude for your unwavering support. It is because of your generosity that we’ve been able to continue empowering marginalized teen girls across Morocco, giving them the tools to realize their full potential. Your belief in the mission of Project Soar has made a tangible difference in the lives of these young girls, allowing them to grow in confidence, discover their voices, and take control of their futures.
In 2023, 1,310 empowerment workshops were delivered, with 643 girls successfully completing the full empowerment curriculum, designed to help them understand their Value, Voice, Body, Rights, and Path. These girls participated in 112 empowerment workshops across 40 sites, where they developed the confidence to speak up, embrace their bodies, and advocate for their futures. Our program not only focuses on building self-confidence but also teaches critical life skills that empower girls to become strong leaders in their communities.
Additionally, 1,549 Soar Girls mobilized to hold dialogues with over 4,340 community members, working together to address the challenges they face daily. With every workshop, every dialogue, and every act of self-advocacy, these young girls are building brighter futures. This ongoing engagement is creating a lasting ripple effect, inspiring more communities to support girls in their journey to success.
Thanks to your continued support, we’ve been able to empower more girls than ever before. The impact is clear: girls are staying in school, leading change, and becoming strong advocates for themselves and their communities.
