It's a Birthday!
In older age, everybody keeps telling us that we better watch out for our sweet tooth, but when it's a Birthday, we don't.
We have plenty of reasons for munching on sweets and savouries at Al-Mustafa Senior Citizen's home. The sweetest of all such explanations is a Birthday.
Sometimes it is the birthday of our superwomen, or sometimes a sweet birthday girls come with a mouthwatering cake on her big day. Either way, it's a win-win situation.
We might be old, but we are fabulous!
You must not think of our ladies as the old grumpy ones who have lost interest in the colours of life. Whenever there is an event, our ladies get the most out of it. The Eid festivities were a bash. From the Mehendi/Hina Tattoos to jewellery, clothes, shoes and bangles, we have covered it all.
Wedding bells!
Weddings are the most colourful and culturally enriched activities in Pakistan. Al-Mustafa's senior citizens are frequently invited to weddings, and they certainly enjoy it a lot.
When it's a dull day, we get back to nature!
When all the excuses for making the days colourful, we plan a trip to the park and observe the colours of nature. Breakfast at the park is a ritual; our ladies enjoy it most.
