Dear HOPE friend,
We like to inform you that The Midwifery Diplom Program is going strong, so far we have trained 131 midwives. These young girls are a miracle, as they will dedicate their lives to care for pregnant women.
With their work they are preventing maternal death by providing access to safe delivery. In October 2021, the 6th batch started with 46 students; another new batch was enrolled in January 2022, and soon a new batch will garduate from this program.
Furthermore, HOPE’s training center got officially approved by the national academic authorities from Bangladesh as "HOPE Midwifery Institute", and we are working to expand the educational capacity.
We keep facing some challenging situations after the consequences of COVID-19.
All the midwives in HOPE facilities, and the entire healthcare team, are provided with extra Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and extra training in Infectious Diseases Control to minimize the spread of any virus.
We are strong, doing everything we can to take care for the people in need of essential/lifesaving medical care.
We are very thankful for your support, making this type of activities possible. Please keep us in your prayers, we will do the same.
Together we are stronger!
