Thanks to your continuous support, we were able to perform, for the first time in Northern Syria, a kidney stone removal through skin incision from the renal pelvis.
The patient, S.A, 40, visited one of our clinics with a complaint of a non-responsive kidney stone to traditional treatment (ESWL) and after conducting necessary examinations and investigations, it was decided to perform a minor surgery of 1 cm in size through the skin incision from the renal pelvis using the (PCNL) technique. The decision was made to perform this surgical intervention due to the high cost of this procedure within private clinics and the difficulty of referral to Turkey.
Thank you for your humanity that goes beyond just giving to charity in providing medical services and raising it to the highest level without burdening our patients with any costs. This is humane and greatly admirable! With your continued support for our surgical program, we will be able to save more lives.
