Your Impact: Transforming Lives in Northern Syria!
By Baraa AlSharbaji | Fundraising Officer
Dear Valued Donor,
Thanks to your generosity, we've achieved a significant milestone in our mission to support heart patients in northern Syria. Your donations have enabled us to establish an internal and cardiac clinic at Wassim Hassino Hospital, a crucial step in providing accessible healthcare to a vulnerable community.
Watch this video to witness the impact of your support: https://youtu.be/9GoDZsOp9nE
Dr. Hussein, a specialist with SEMA, highlights the clinic's advanced facilities, including a state-of-the-art intensive care unit. This development has already improved the lives of many heart patients in the region.
While we celebrate this achievement, the need for ongoing support remains. Your contribution, regardless of the amount, will ensure the continued operation of this vital clinic and help save more lives.
Thank you for being a crucial part of this transformative journey.

Thanks to your generous support, an elderly man's life in northern Syria was saved through a successful surgical procedure for a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. This condition has a mortality risk exceeding 90%.
Your donations made this life-saving intervention possible, preventing the loss of a 75-year-old patient who arrived at the Surgical Emergency Department at on of SEMA hospitals in northern Syria with severe abdominal pain and low blood pressure. The surgery, performed by Dr. Ali Al-Saeed, involved prompt diagnosis, immediate intervention, and meticulous postoperative care.
Today, the patient is in excellent health, returning to the hospital two months later. Your continued support can help us save more lives.
Thank you for making a difference!

Your support for surgical procedures saved the lives of a child and a woman!

Obtaining a spot for surgery can take months for patients in northern Syria, a known and expected challenge for all patients requiring surgical intervention. However, what cannot be anticipated is the need for emergency lifesaving surgical procedures that can affect anyone, regardless of age or health, as seen in these two emergency cases from the Orthopedic Emergency Surgery Department at one of SEMA's hospitals.
The first case involves a 45-year-old woman who suffered a fracture in the left thigh bone due to a fall. Similarly, the second case involves a 12-year-old adolescent who also experienced a fall resulting in a thigh bone fracture.
Both patients underwent urgent surgical procedures to stabilize the fractures with an appropriate plate after radiological and laboratory investigations. They were discharged after a period of recovery in the hospital's wards.
We extend our gratitude to all those who donated to sponsor surgical procedures, especially for those in urgent need who lack the financial means to undergo them.
Your donation saves the lives of these individuals, so we urge you to continue your support and generous contributions.
