Spice Without Borders supports individuals from the margins of society in Kenya who have overcome adversity, are passionate about certain causes and have transformative ideas. Through the Spice Accelerator, a 6-month program designed to accelerate idea and early-stage entrepreneurs, we select 30 participants per academic year. To do this sustainably, we have established a kitty dubbed SPICE-30 in our commitment to equip a generation of sustainable business and change leaders through mentorship
Spice Without Borders supports individuals from the margins of society in Kenya who have overcome adversity, are passionate about certain causes and have transformative ideas. They see a problem in their backyard but do NOT take action because they are disadvantaged and have inadequate knowledge of techniques that help create change.
Through the Spice Accelerator, a 6-month program designed to accelerate idea and early-stage entrepreneurs from the margins, we select a maximum of 30 participants per academic year through a vigorous selection process. This is in our commitment to equip a new generation of sustainable business and change leaders through mentorship, training and networking. Spice Accelerator provides these participants access to mentors and advisors, key local and national resources.
Over time we will have a generation of diverse leaders that are socially responsible and committed to supporting the local economy through their authentic ideas. They could be; entrepreneurs, creatives, activists, initiators and innovators who aspire to be change catalysts and accelerators in their community.
