The year 2021 is half way through and donations towards COVID relief have dwindled quite significantly. Communities in Southern Africa are still in great need of food, clothes and hygiene products. Rural communities faced extreem hardship, especially during this time of winter in Southern Africa.
Since our last report, HOPE Africa continues to provide nutritious meals to homeless people living in shelters. We often have volunteer who come to clean the vegetables and help prepare the meals.
Food hampers have been distributed in 2 rural communities, feeding more than 200 families. We also plan to reach out to communities in Namibia, Lesotho and Mozambique as we raise more funding.
HOPE Africa has also been quite involved in providing communities with information about the vaccine roll out and encouraging people to register and go to get vaccinated.
Thank you all for your support that includes prayers and donations at this time. We do hope that we can count on your continued support for this important COVID-19 relief work.
